F&R Ag Services was formed in 2013 by Vince Furtado and Joe Ramos with the primary goal of providing the dairy industry a common sense approach to meeting regulatory compliance at a reasonable cost. Our staff with over 50 years of combined experience has now grown to nine full-time professionals including four Certified Technical Service Providers (TSP’s) on staff which understands the challenges of operating dairies in California and attempts to minimize the burden of regulatory compliance for their respective clients.
Our primary service is and will continue to be assisting our producers with dairy-related regulatory requirements imposed by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board and San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, including on-site inspections, preparation of Annual Reports and recordkeeping.
However, to fully meet our clients needs, F&R also is well versed in preparing Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans for NRCS, EQIP funding, assistance in obtaining Conditional Use Permits in Sacramento, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced and Madera Counties and in seeking Grant funding opportunities currently offered by the California Department of Food and Agriculture under the Alternative Manure Management Program (AMMP).
