Western United Dairies is pleased to announce the hiring of two new Member Services Representatives: Allison Tristao of Fresno and Kyle Lutz of Ferndale.
Allison Tristao
WUD Community Field Representative
Allison is joining WUD with a strong dairy background.
In addition to providing field services to Western’s members, Allison is going to trailblaze for the organization by focusing WUD’s engagement on locally important and dairy “critical” meetings. Meetings related to water, land use planning, agricultural organization fundraisers, environmental justice outreach, and non-profit interaction will now be a major focus for WUD in achieving broader policy objectives across the state.
WUD’s CEO, Anja Raudabaugh says of Allison’s hire – “Allison will be providing direct contact with groups outside dairy’s normal tables, elevating dairy education and outreach within the communities we live and serve.”
Allison grew up in Tulare County on her family’s dairy, showed cattle as a 4-H and FFA member, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Fresno State in December of 2021.

Kyle Lutz
WUD Technical Services Representative
Kyle’s immediate past as an innovative organic dairy farmer has been a critical part of his professional journey on his way to joining WUD.
In addition to his farming background, Kyle brings a high level of technical expertise to WUD’s existing staff team. Kyle is a trained carbon farm planner and adds a healthy portfolio that includes AMMP and DDRP grant writing, organic certification expertise, and a depth of water quality regulatory knowledge. Kyle is also currently pursuing education through NRCS to become a certified TSP to write CNMP’s and CFP’s for dairy producers.
Kyle’s ability to directly assist dairy farmers will be critical to California dairy’s longterm success. In addition to directly assisting dairy families with day-to-day regulatory compliance needs, Kyle will work with WUD’s existing team to expand our suite of technical services offered to Kyle earned a bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science from Fresno State in 2016 and is also a graduate of the California Dairy Leaders program.
“Kyle is a critical hire as WUD prepares for potential increases in regulatory burdens dairy families will have to bear during the next few years and we intend to keep dairy farmers farming through it by offering direct technical assistance,” says WUD’s CEO, Anja Raudabaugh.
