Western United Dairies (WUD) is pleased to announce the selection of Andrew Brazil as the new South State Farmer Representative.

In this role, Andrew will serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for dairy farmers across Southern California. He will work directly with farmers to support the implementation of key programs, including water supply and watershed incentives, Landflex initiatives, SGMA compliance, vermifiltration and water quality enhancement projects, on-farm recharge practices, and air quality initiatives.

Andrew brings deep, hands-on experience in California dairy farming and a strong commitment to practical, farmer-focused solutions. He will focus on delivering technical assistance, program enrollment support, and policy advocacy to help California dairies navigate regulatory challenges while improving environmental outcomes and farm profitability.

“Andrew’s extensive background working directly with Groundwater Sustainability Agencies makes him an ideal addition to the WUD team,” said Anja Raudabaugh, CEO. “His knowledge of on-farm operations and dedication to the dairy community will be invaluable as we expand our support for farmers facing water quality, recharge, and sustainability requirements.”

Andrew will be based in the Southern California region and will begin his new role on Monday, May 4, 2026. Dairy farmers are encouraged to reach out to him directly for assistance with WUD programs, technical resources, or enrollment support at andrew@wudairies.com or (559) 707-3701.
