Western United Dairies is now accepting applications for the 2022– 23 California Dairy Leaders Program. The program consists of six sessions that take up approximately 14 days over the course of a year and include sessions in California focused on environmental issues and regulations, milk pricing and economics, public relations and marketing, and legislative process including dairy advocacy and a trip to Sacramento. The class also includes a trip to Chicago and Washington, D.C. where participants learn about the federal legislative process, dairy exports, national promotion, and risk management.
